IMOK is looking to hire three team members for the following positions:

Job Title: Team Member

1 position in Sulaimani- (Kurdish and English writing and speaking skills)
1 Position in Erbil- (Kurdish and English Speaking writing and speaking skills)
1 Position in Baghdad- (Arabic and English writing and speaking skills)

Working Hours: Part-time and as needs arise

Minimum Expeirence : 3 years

Reports to :Team Leader

IMOK is seeking an experienced team member candidate in Iraqi Sulaimani, Erbil and Baghdad to support the team leader in managing and implementing IMOK project including but not limited to Monitoring Social Media for Hate speech and CounterSpeech. The team member and coordinator will assist the implementation on the ground, including but not limited to coordination with the local media outlets, journalists, local partners, preparing reports and providing logistic support for research, workshops and trainings and conferences.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in journalism, media, politics or other relevant field
2-3 years related experience with NGOs or relevant institutions.
Minimum two years’ experience in project implementation, coordination and liaison is preferable
Fluency in English and good stand of Arabic or/and Kurdish is preferred.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent knowledge about Microsoft suits, IT and how to use technology for social cohesion and inclusion projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The team members need to have a strong connection with the media outlets and journalists all over the country, this will help in the recruitment of participants for trainings.
With support from the team leader, coordinating partner/training participants’ travel, including airfare and hotel arrangements, interacting with travel agent and program staff in coordination with Operations and logistics manager.
Communicate with the local media outlets about trainings and other programs.
Arrange and facilitate all logistics involved in the setting up and running of trainings such as preparation of facilities, venues and equipment (e.g., microphones, laptops, recorders, USBs, etc.
Coordinate with other staff for making arrangements for guest speakers, TOT training, and to various activities.
Collect travel receipts and manage expenses/accounting for participants.
Assist with training and provide translation/interpretation if needed.
Coordinate publication/production of training materials in print or video as needed.
Work with the Monitoring and Evaluating officer on the progress of participants in training workshops and measuring their output after training.
Maintain an up-to-date contact list of those involved in training programs/activities and enter it into a database.
Maintain and update the work plan of the activities.
Any other relevant tasks required by the team leader and line manager.
